Many of us who call ourselves “songwriters” walk around with a gnawing in our gut telling us we have songs inside of us that need to get out. Maybe just one or two or maybe a hundred. But regardless of the number, genre or audience, we have the sense that writing songs somehow makes us better, more fully alive humans.

The problem is the songs sometimes get stuck. For whatever reason you’ve learned how to ignore the songs inside you. Maybe life just got busy… your job, your schoolwork, or your kids take over your schedule.

We designed the Leavenworth Songwriters Retreat to get those songs un-stuck.

Four days and three nights at Icicle Creek Center for the Arts in the picturesque mountain town of Leavenworth, WA, surrounded by likeminded collaborators and coaches cheering you on, supporting you with whatever you need to kickstart your songwriting process.

Perhaps you are looking for inspiration, focus, collaborating partners, constructive feedback, or technical help. Maybe you simply need the time and dedicated space to do more of what you love. We want this event to help unblock whatever barrier might be standing in your way.

The general daily flow will consist of: inspiring conversations in the mornings, creating songs in the afternoons, and sharing songs in the evenings.

Full Price: $795
Scholarship Price : $295
Full Price + Donation: $1095 (allows us to offer discounts to those who can’t afford the full price)

Lodging is “bunk bed style” - 4 to 6 per room

***SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY: We were awarded a grant to help subsidize the cost for anyone who wants to attend the retreat but is unable to afford the full cost. Even if you cannot afford the “scholarship price” please apply and let us know. We are committed to making sure money is NOT an obstacle for anyone who wants to join us!

Cancellation Policy: We offer a 100% refund policy up to two weeks before the event. At that point, there are no refunds. If there are emergency or extenuating circumstances we can work with you on a case by case basis.
