Community-Funded Projects
Support the recording, production and distribution of heart-centered music
In 2015 I “crowd-funded” the production of my 4th studio album, raising $10,000 in just two days! In addition to raising the funds necessary to capture the magic of the songs with the elevated quality and care they deserved, I brought an entire community along for the ride. When the album was released, it didn’t feel like my record. It felt like our record.
As the music industry continues to evolve, community efforts like this have become an important part of enabling authentic, heart-centered songs from emerging artists to be produced with the care and attention they deserve.
The artists I choose to work with for my community-funded projects are artists I personally believe in - independent artists who’s songs and voices carry a certain resonance to them… a particular heart-centered, fully authentic and even healing quality that I believe our world needs. Rather than put the full weight of production cost on the artist, we are sharing them with you, the community, and inviting you play an instrumental part (dad-pun intended) in bringing these songs to life. - BJT
